eUniversa Filer

The Filer Interface enables the capture, submission, and communication of case data and files in an easy to use, browser-based format. eUniversa supports eFiling for a variety of participants with multiple avenues for eFiling.

Filers can easily electronically file cases via a browser-based interface which is designed to meet a specific Court’s needs with data fields,
both required and optional, with the ability to browse and upload files for submission to the Court. This avenue for eFiling provides for an
easy to navigate tabbed interface, ensuring Filers are guided through the data capturing process. The information and interface can be
customized to meet a Court’s specific policy, but generally provides for:

Judiciary Selection & Filing Action Case Participant Information Document Data & Attachment Payment Information Review & Submittal of eFiling

Access for the self-represented litigant utilizing Access to Justice® software. Interviews are published in a browser-based, question and
answer format. Interview data is generated into documents using Microsoft® Word™ templates while data is transformed into
ECF 4.0 Filing message for Court submission.

Allows Courts to use existing Adobe Forms for data collection. Classic “ACRO” Forms and new XML based Forms (XFA Forms)
designed using Adobe Live Designer. Data collected from the Adobe Form is transformed into ECF 4.0 Filing message for Court
submission.

Microsoft® Office™ toolbar add-on that allows a Filer to electronically file a document directly from Microsoft Word 2007/2003
to the Court.

Filer Registration
eUniversa supports an automated processing method for Filer registration with guided steps, required data, password policies,
attorney validation, and security question and answer. Registration for eUniversa supports registration and authorization for attorneys,
self-represented litigants, Court personnel, Judiciary staff, and other authorized users.
